Egyptian style deck mixed with cartomancy. Numbered from 1 to 78, being the 78th the arcane The Fool.
NOTE:
In the majors, the card has the image of a Tarot Etteilla, (Great Oracle Game of the Ladies) on the right and on the left it has the double Hebrew letters to be able to mean the same thing upside down and right side up, in the middle of the letters appears a scene inspired by the art of Ancient Egypt, allegory of the meaning of the arcane. In the minors, the letters are replaced by sheets of two decks of cards. Above is the Spanish deck and below is an English one.
It is also called CATALAN TAROT of the late nineteenth century because the Minor Arcana (upper left) are precisely of this style, being so named for the first time by Felix Alfaro Fournier in his Catalog of Decks of his Fournier Museum (published in 1982), with the numbers 560 and 561 of Spain.
The name is due to the Catalan-type cards that appear on the upper left edge of each card, although both the Tarot and the book that explains them (available for consultation in the Biblioteca Nacional de España part Biblioteca Digital Hispánica), "Los maravillosos secretos de los naipes", were published in Madrid by the publishing house Pueyo. In the aforementioned book, signed with the pseudonym Doctor Moorne, it is stated "not without great sacrifices, both pecuniary and intellectual, we have been able to present to our readers four decks of cards in one, namely: the Egyptian taros... the deck that Etteilla composed... and the French and Spanish decks... finally the 22 taros that make up the deck... finally the 22 taros which are composed of the numbers from 1 to 21 and 78 and are the ones that carry the sacred alphabet. In this way, everyone can use the one they like best and play the game they consider convenient, without being hindered by the others".
The tarot is a deck of cards that, in addition to being used for playing, is often used as a means of "divination" of the past, of the present situation of the querent and sometimes of the future, thus constituting a type of cartomancy.
Its origins date back at least to the 14th century, and there is no reason to trace its roots further back in history.
Cards that aim to awaken the mind of man to other levels, through which he can access other wisdom, other knowledge that allow to know and anticipate, as well as to find inner well-being.

APUNTE:
En los mayores, la carta tiene la imagen de un Tarot Etteilla, (Gran Juego Oráculo de las Damas) a la derecha y en la izquierda tiene las letras hebreas dobles para poder significar lo mismo al derecho y al revés, en el medio de las letras aparece una escena inspirada en el arte del Antiguo Egipto, alegoría del significado del arcano. En los menores, sustituye las letras por láminas de dos barajas. Arriba la española y abajo una inglesa.
También se denomina TAROT CATALÁN de finales del siglo XIX por que los Arcanos Menores (parte superior izquierda) son precisamente de este estilo, siendo denominado así por primera vez por parte de Félix Alfaro Fournier en su Catálogo de Barajas de su Museo Fournier (editado en el año 1982), con los números 560 y 561 de España.
El nombre se debe a los naipes de tipo catalán que aparecen en el borde superior izquierdo de cada carta, si bien tanto el Tarot como el libro que los explica (disponible la consulta del mismo en la Biblioteca Nacional de España parte Biblioteca Digital Hispánica), "Los maravillosos secretos de los naipes", fueron editados en Madrid por la editorial Pueyo. En el mencionado libro, firmado con el seudónimo Doctor Moorne, se declara "no sin grandes sacrificios, tanto pecuniarios, como intelectuales, hemos podido presentar a nuestros lectores cuatro barajas en una sola, a saber: los taros Egipcios... la baraja que Etteilla compuso... y las barajas francesa y española... finalmente los 22 taros que se componen de los números del 1 al 21 y el 78 y son los que llevan el alfabeto sagrado. De este modo, cada cual pueda servirse del que más les plazca y hacer el juego que tenga por conveniente, sin que para ello le sirvan de estorbo los demás".
El tarot es una baraja de naipes que, además de servir para jugar, se usa a menudo como medio de "adivinación" del pasado, de la situación presente del consultante y algunas veces del futuro, por lo que constituiría un tipo de cartomancia.
Sus orígenes datan al menos del siglo XIV, no teniendo fundamento llevar sus raíces más atrás en la historia.
Cartas que tienen como objetivo despertar la mente del hombre a otros niveles, a través de los cuales pueda acceder a otra sabiduría, a otros conocimientos que permitan saber y anticipar, así como también encontrar el bienestar interior.
