This is a laser cut aluminium blank to make a steering wheel for a Totrod, Toylander etc. It's made from 5mm thick marine grade aluminium (so won't corrode like common or garden Aluminium)

The blank is 200mm diameter, with a 15mm wide rim. They are proportionally similar to the wood rimmed steering wheels you might see on classic cars. I have made a couple of these and made rims from plywood to good effect per the last photo on the listing.

I can also offer a 3D printed rim for the blank. The rim is made from "wood coloured" plastic, smooth on the front, and dimpled to the rear just like the real thing.

The pilot bore in the centre of the wheel is 12 mm so you can open it out to suit your preferred mounting method.

The parts have been "rumbled" this takes off sharp edges and burrs, and leaves an excellent basis for polishiong to a mirror finish, or as a key to paint.

Please note the last photo is for illustration only, and shows a completed wheel with a wood rim. If you choose to purchase the rim as well, it will be 3D printed from beige plastic. You can paint the parts or leave them as they are. I use a proprietary contact adhesive to bond the rims to the wheels.

Any questions, please ask. I've got various other toylander and tot rod parts in my shop, please take a look at my other items.
