Starlight Photonics Policies

FDA Disclaimer for Laser Components This product is sold solely for use as a component (or replacement) in an electronic product; therefore it is not required to, and does not comply with, 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11 which pertain to complete laser products. The manufacturer of the complete system-level electronic product is responsible for complying with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11 and for providing the user with all necessary safety warnings and information.

Payment

Payments are handled by eBay Managed Payments which allows a variety of payment methods such as credit, debit, and gift cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Credit. We accept Purchase Orders from accredited Universities but generally require pre-payment. Please note that sales tax is collected by eBay, not by the seller. To avoid paying sales tax, you need to have your reseller certificate on file with eBay before making a purchase.

Shipping

All orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. Please check the Shipping and Payments tab on the auction listing to see the carrier and cost for shipping. We take pride in our careful packing of delicate items. In the unlikely case that you receive an item which has been damaged in shipping, please hang on to the packing material and contact us. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and start the process of getting you a replacement or a refund.

Warranty

Items we sell on eBay do not include any warranty unless otherwise specifically stated in the listing. We do guarantee that the items we sell will be delivered in the condition described in the listing and pictures. If you have a problem with your purchase, please get in touch and we'll do our best to resolve it.

Return Policy

We generally do not accept returns for items sold on eBay. Please read the listing carefully, do your research and ask us any questions you need to decide if the item is suitable for your use. We will occasionally make an exception for items which are still in the sealed package and are returned along with all the original accessories, paperwork and packaging. Shipping charges are not refundable and opened packages will incur a fee to cover testing and restocking the item. Returns which are not resalable due to missing parts, damage, alteration, etc. will not be refunded.

International Sales

Orders shipped by eBay Global Shipping Program (GSP) include import charges in the order price. For orders shipped by other carriers, import duties, taxes, and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. We will not falsify export documentation.
