These crimps are used to join 0.5mm telephone wire (standard telephone cable) together.
They can be used internally or externally as they contain a waterproof gel which stops the wires from corroding. They are much better than using screw terminal blocks as they do not degrade the broadband signal.
They are very simple to use, just insert one wire per hole and then squeeze down using pliers, each crimp will join a maximum of 3 wires. There is no need to strip the wire as the IDC connection in the crimp does that for you.
