You are bidding on a Vintage "must de Cartier" Silver tone Letter Opener with Lapis Lazuli Cabochon gemstone inset circa 1970'.  The handle is made in a classical column design with a gold tone plated band at the end.  Fully marked with the Cartier of Paris copyright and "Spain" at the handle end.  Measures 18.5 cm (7.25" inches) long and 2 cm (.75" inches) wide.  It weighs 122 grams out of the box.  It has some slight patina from age but otherwise appears unused.  The blade end has etched personalization on both sides from an "Africa Mid East Lines" "with compliments" to "Bill Sawkney".  Comes in original red and gold box packaging with its Certificate of Authenticity from Cartier wrapped in protective padding and plastic in a cloth bag.
