DESCRIPTION: An under dress of swishy, daffodil yellow crisp taffeta forms the base of this girly, Lolita prom party dress from the late 40s, with 2 over layers of a less bright yellow stiff tulle on the skirt.  Waistline comes to a center 'v' and is piped. The skirting tulle is very stiff and tightly gathered, with two tiers on the outer layer and a thin white daisy chain lace covering the seam.  The same tulle is used across the front and back neckline, extending to the show shoulders and standing up to form 'angel wings' of sorts, with the same daisy lace trim. Side metal zipper and hook and eyes for closure.  Very thin spaghetti shoulder straps. Shown with medium crinoline, not included. The yellow is more vibrant than came out in the photos.  Shown on size 4, 6 ft. tall mannequin.

CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, appears to have never been worn. There is a long split in the outer layer of tulle on the skirt, which can easily be stitched to invisibility. Tulle seems a bit dusty from storage and would benefit from a soaking.
