The hand woven kilim i used for this pillow cover dates back to 1940s and it is from Caucasus.
I used modern cotton fabric for backing this pillow cover and the woven parts are all lined with felted interface fabric.
No insert, no filler

KILIM :
Kilims are the methaporic language of the nomads of Anatolia. The symbolic language that finds expression in kilims inspires the viewer to reflect on life in a bygone era, on the traditions of the women who wove these timeless textiles and the cultural context from which they emerged, in other words, to recreate those times in their own imagination. This little kilim cushion is a small representation of this imagination.

The colors might look slightly different on different screens. If you are you are very much sensitive about the colors of the piece, please question detailly and ask for extra images to be sure about the colors, since returning the pieces is a costy and difficult process.
Some might expect these vintage pieces to have as perfect condition as brandnew items, and that is why i needed to underline this issue.
