1948 Japan 4 - Imperf Stamp Sheet | Sc #415 | MH NG.

This souvenir sheet contains four imperf stamps. They are two 1.50y in deep blue color, and two 3.80y in brown color. This makes the sheet with a total of ¥10.60.

It was released through the Kumamoto Stamp Exhibition held in September 20th of 1948.

Although it was hinged, the hinges haven’t messed up any of the view of the front. There is a slight darkening coming through to the front from the lower hinge in the middle, but you’d have to really look at it to know it was there.

There is a crease in the sheet that’s not detrimental in any way to front, but it is noticeable. It can be seen in the pictures above. This was not a fold; it was something pressed against the backside that “embossed” it a bit.

There aren’t very many of these available out there.
