1943 Philippines 50c ovrprt Stamp Blocks | Sc #N6 & N6b mixed | MNH OG. These each have a catalogue value of $127.50, for a combined $255!

There is a lot to explain on these. Please read carefully. Both block definitely have their lower-right stamp having the Type I overprint where the “A” has a triangular center. In the first picture, the lower of the two blocks has both lower stamps with Type I overprints.

The upper block in picture one has, AT MINIMUM, a partial triangle and pinhole (Type II overprint) together. It looks more like a triangle that a pinhole though. This can be seen in picture #9 above. It’s the second picture with the orange numbers at bottom.

Both blocks definitely have Type II upper stamps where the “A” has a center looking like a keyhole.

The upper block has a small rip just after the black numbers in the lower right-corner of the lower right stamp.

The last picture shows the Type II keyhole “A” overprint.

A couple of perfs in both blocks’ lower-middle connection point between the two lower stamps. The block, and stamps, are still well connected.

In the first picture above, the lower block also has a rip in the lower-right corner, of the lower-left stamp. This small tear is directly connected with the separated perforations. The last picture shows this.

All eight of the stamps have their own original gum in shiny condition. This can also seen in the pictures.

There were only ever 20,000 of these overprinted/made. These are eight great examples of them. There aren’t many of these out there at all. These were issued during the short period of time when Japan overran the East Pacific islands during WWII. These were issued with two full years left in WWII.

Postage is set to free without a tracking number. Postage will most certainly be combined with multiple purchases.

Thank you for looking and check back often for more interesting items. When you’ve got time, check out my other stamps for sale; there are a lot.
