This hat is made with 100% cotton.   This hat comes with a ribbon that has been secured in place.  The ribbon works like elastic in that it helps keep the hair inside the cap.  This hat was washed before sewing to allow for shrinkage. It is a ponytail style hat with a grosgrain ribbon. This hat fits heads with about  21-22  inches in circumference.  This hat works well for the medical staff, dental assistants, and hygienists, food service workers who may need to have their hair tucked away, as well as cancer patients who may be experiencing hair loss.  This hat is soft, and very comfortable.

How to measure your head:

>Use a soft tape measure 

> Measure around the crown of your head from the four head around the top of both ears.

> Like the picture shows.

This will tell you what your head measures. 

Example: My head circumference is  22 inches and I have waist long hair and this type of hat fits very comfortable on me.
