Battery Ordinance - Sales of batteries and accumulators
If the offer includes rechargeable batteries and batteries: You are legally obliged to dispose of used batteries separately. The disposal takes place at a communal collection point or in the appropriate trade. You can return batteries received from us free of charge or send them back by post. Batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed out garbage can and the chemical symbol of the respective harmful substance (eg "cd" for cadmium, "pb" for lead, "hg" for mercury).
