Adafruit CRICKIT FeatherWing for all Feather

Develop your own robot with CRICKET - Adafruit's Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It is an expansion board for the popular Adafruit Feather Platform and is compatible with Allen Feather microcontroller boards.

Simply plug any feather board onto the cricket board and control servos, motors and much more immediately. The Cricket has seesaw support and only uses two I2C data lines of the microcontroller to control all existing components (I / Os, timers, PWM outputs, sensors). Only the audio output is not provided via seesaw.

The Crickit FeatherWing offers the following product features:

  • 4x connection for analog or digital servos with 16-bit timers
  • 2x connection for DC motors or 1x stepper motor with 1A limitation and 8-bit PWM speed control
  • 4x Darlington circuit with free-wheeling diode for controlling relays, coils, large LEDs or a stepper motor
  • 4x capacitive touch sensor with contact surfaces for alligator clips
  • 8x digital or analog inputs and outputs
  • 1x Class D, 4-8 Ω loudspeaker with 3W audio amplifier

All inputs and outputs are designed for voltages of 5 V. 9 or 12 V components are not supported. Please note that you need a 5V power supply to operate the cricket, which is not included in the scope of delivery. A selection of the available feather boards can be found here.
