the absolute sound (tas) Magazine/Journal is without question one of the finest Audio magazines ever published. From the earliest edition (Spring of 1973) to the most recent issues, the magazine has held impeccably high standards of quality regarding Recorded Music and the finest musical equipment reviews. Over the years the various writers tackled everything musically imaginable. Equipment reviews range from the most expensive to the most affordable, always with quality of playback commensurate with price point as most important. Whether you're wealthy or simply a music lover on a tight budget, TAS always has recommendations suggesting the very best within a price range. There are interviews with composers, engineers, designers, artists and manufacturers you won't find anywhere else. The music reviews are always introspective and educational. Last but not least there are occasional controversies prompting further thinking or a good laugh. There've been many Audio magazines over the years but none can match the overall pedigree and consistency of tas.

I try my best to describe the condition and content of each magazine. Please be sure of your purchase before ordering. Magazines are NOT returnable unless for some reason I have NOT described their condition accurately. Please keep in mind that this magazine was sent through the mail and probably read from cover to cover. Minor cover scuffing can be expected on some issues, however; if there’s any other damage, I'll note it.
