Glass Factory Tarbeklaas continued as a successor of the nationalized company of Johannes Lorup, founded in 1941, which operated in the 1930s. Initially, it largely continued with Lorup's forms. Consumer glass became an important pioneer in the Estonian glass industry, the production of which has reached the orbit of collectors' interest today.
