The Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board is the perfect board to play WAV and OGG audio files quickly and easily. Ideal, for example, to equip costumes and props with sound effects.

  • No further board like Arduino / Genuino or microcontroller necessary! The Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board can operate alone.
  • Small dimensions of only 22mm x 48mm.
  • 2 MB integrated memory, enough for a few minutes of compressed stereo sounds.
  • Audio files can easily be copied from the computer to the sound board via USB.
  • Support for compressed Ogg Vorbis and uncompressed WAV audio files
  • Very good audio quality - 44.1 KHz at 16-bit are no problem, all bit / sample rates are supported.
  • Stereo output
  • 11 Trigger - 11 buttons can be connected to trigger 11 different audio files.
  • 5 different trigger effects - controlled by appropriate file names. Please see the tutorial for more information on the effects.

Each board is delivered assembled and tested. The scope of delivery includes the sound board and pin headers, which you can solder on as required.
