The fabric i used for this pillow cover dates back to 1900s and it is from  Anatolia - Turkey.

I used cotton fabric for backing this pillow cover and the woven parts are all lined with felted interface fabric.

It is an intricate garment that is a symbol of the relationship between mother and daughter.  Handed down through generations, it is a long velvet fabric carefully embroidered with silver or gold designs and motifs.
