For purification with activated carbon - the filter column, after filling with carbon, is used in the process of purifying / adjusting the taste and smell of drinking water and spirits.
Comfortable base - the column is equipped with a base that allows it to be conveniently placed on a flat surface.
For use with distillers and independently - the column can be connected to the distillation equipment or used without its use.
Preparing Karbon to use:
Begin by rinsing the Karbon under cold water to remove any loose dust or particles. Gently agitate it with your hands while rinsing.
Next, prepare a clean container or bucket and fill it with hot water. The water should be around 60-70°C (140-160°F).
Place the Karbon into the container and let it soak for approximately 20-30 minutes. This will help activate the carbon and remove any remaining impurities.
After soaking, carefully pour off the water, taking care not to disturb the settled Karbon at the bottom. You may notice some black residue in the water, which is normal.
