Installation:

The clutch stop for this model is a direct swap from oem. Unscrew the original oem stop. Once that's out, simply screw our stop into the hole that the oem stop came out of.

The easiest fitting clutch stop on the market.

Information on our stop:

Unlike other alternatives on the market, our stops are made from a high quality very robust plastic. Along with the original oem rubber on top, our stops are stronger, longer lasting, and won't lose afffectivness over time.

Some other manufacturers top their stops with a, soft foam-like rubber. This works for a little while, but through use, it begins to wear down, and eventually moulds into the shape of the clutch pedal. Creating the problem of the clutch pedal sinking into, and then sticking to the stop. Simple google search tells you this.

While their stops can be adjustable, which is an advantage over ours, they can only be adjusted by the thickness of the washers they use. Sometimes as much as 5mm. Where as we can adjust ours, millimetre by millimetre, before sending it. Giving the maximum benefit. Ours come at a recommended height. We allow plenty of clearance from the clutch bite point, for safety, but can be made slightly taller upon request. Or if you only feel like reducing the dead zone by a set amount, like 10mm, we can do exactly that.

Topped with a very firm neoprene rubber, that won't mould out of shape and helps prevent the plastic to plastic clunk noise.

How it works:

At the bottom of every clutch pedal, there is what's known as a "dead zone".

Once the clutch pedal has reached a certain point, the clutch engages. However, the clutch pedal has room to keep going, till it hits the oem stop. That travel of the clutch pedal is needless. That is what's called the "dead zone". Our stops are designed to eliminate MOST of that dead zone. We allow a bit of clearance from the point of the clutch engaging, and the point of it hitting our stop.

This shorter throw of the clutch makes it a joy to change gear. Really allows you to fly through the gears.

It also has the added benefit, of forever knowing that the bite point is just up from the bottom of your clutch travel. No longer guessing how far up the pedal travel the bite is. Just slightly up from our stop is the bite, say goodbye to stalling!!

Every cars "dead zone" is different however. Each stop we sell has been fine tuned, for the perfect fitment, and the perfect reduction in dead zone. There is room in each of our stops to be made a slightly taller, if you prefer a more extreme drive. Simply message us what size you'd like it to be.
