Dark mahogany dining table with three leaves seats 14 people and opens to 12 feet. This is a very unusual dining table because the crotch mahogany Veneers are cut and "laid-up" on the tabletop as one continuous length, unlike most tables that are slip-matched and made up of much smaller Veneer fletches.  These Veneers are near impossible to find, you'll never see another table like this one because the Venners are milled just for these tables.   These tables are exclusive and are only available through our store.  Some people would call this table a double pedestal dining table because it stands on two Duncan Phyfe style pedestals.  These pedestals are also of exceptional quality and not all pedestals are created equal. If you carefully inspect the underside of these pedestals, you'll see a steel brace inset each saber leg which makes these pedestals extremely strong considering their minimalistic saber leg design.  The brass capped feet are custom made just for our store as well. They are simple and more modern than the common lion paw capped feet you'll find on similar designs.  These brass capped feet are better suited for transitional decor and they have significant levelers and gliders which are heavy and robust.  This table is 75 inches long and it has three 23 inch leaves which open the table to 12 feet in total. Use the table with no leaves or any combination of leaves. The table has a satin sheen which should satisfy most homeowners. If you want a glossy finish this table's finish can be hand-polished to shine like glass. Razor-thin finishes are safer than thick gaudy finishes which are likely to check and crack.
