IT IS BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION, AS THE BLADE
HAS HEAVY DARK TARNISH, BUT NO PITTING
AND LIGHT PLATING LOSS ON THE FORK TINES

- 12-1/4" LONG KNIFE = 111.0 GRAMS

- 10-5/8" LONG FORK = 122.0 GRAMS

The blade does have heavy, dark tarnish, it is dull, and has light dents in the edge, while the fork does have light plating loss on the back of the tines, and both are monogrammed on the handle. Otherwise, they show typical wear, including surface marks, scratches, and light dents in the hollow handles.  They have been hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and they have nice shine and are very clean.  They are straight, not bent, handles are solid and not loose, and both do not have pitting and can very well be used.

They are hallmarked on the side of the handle STERLING, along with the 3 character marks for Reed & Barton.

If you own an existing heirloom set from this popular pattern of silver, this is a great opportunity to add these pieces to expand your set and fill holes you've been meaning to!  Even if you don't necessarily need these, adding more adds extra resale value to your set if you ever choose to sell it, while being a great silver investment at the same time!  This is a much more hard to find set, so it will make for great filler pieces or you could always have them professionally restored.
