N64 Cartridge Slot Tray REGION FREE for Nintendo 64 Console Play US JAPAN Games. Condition is "New".

Up for sale is a RED game tray that goes on the inside of your Nintendo 64. Every Nintendo 64 has one of these inside but the shape is different for a US console and a JAPANESE console. This is how Nintendo region locked games for the Nintendo 64. This game tray has a custom design that fits both regions. So with this, you can play Japanese games on a US console and US games on a Japanese console.

To install:

1) unscrew 6 screws on bottom of n64

2) pull apart the top and bottom halves of the system (should come apart with no force)

3) find the game tray already installed on your system, this is located on the top half part of the Nintendo. It is directly under the spot a game cartridge goes in. 

4) remove 2 screws from the side of the tray and replace with new game tray from this listing. 

5) repeat above steps in reverse order to reassemble.
