ERA Window Staylocks are recommended for timber windows where a stay arm is used to close the window.
The existing arm retaining/locating pin is replaced with a threaded version.
The window is locked by screwing down the body of the lock onto the threaded pin, this effectively prevents the stay arm from being operated which in turns keep the window locked.
