Uses the Bitex patented 6 pawls technology working in 2 sets of 3 with an angle offset between the two sets to deliver 48 engagement points per rotation for rapid re-engagement from freewheeling.

For the Shimano HG compatible free-hub, the light aluminum freehub is protected by a patented thin anti-bite stainless steel strip so that your cassette cogs will not dig into the alloy, become hard to disassemble and leave ugly marks into the freehub.
