Vintage Handcrafted "Judicial" Ledger Box 3 Drawer Superb Craftsmanship. Dontcha jus kinda see Honest Abe on his Grand Chair sitting on top of this box presiding over the bookeeper who keeps his or her ledgers and receipts here in this box...toiling late in the night by candlelight. Honest Abe figurine NOT INCLUDED!!  This shows all the marks and joints of a Master Craftsman who takes the TIME on the details. The two side drawers have handles from a 1910 sewing machine drawers and the middle knob is a piece from the top of an antique sugar bowl. Just have a look at the joints...dont forget they didnt have the power tools we have today back when this was made. This box is pre-WW2 vintage...i can tell by the scroll work!
