Greek Traditional Syros Loukoumi With Rose Flavor

Loukoumi is a traditional jelly-like sweet, made of sugar, water, and starch, along with aromas and/or nuts. Small cubes are covered with powdered sugar and come in several scents and flavors. 

The most famous ones come from the island of Syros and they are traditionally served with Greek coffee and a glass of cold water. 

The best known varieties are flavored with rosewater (this one), mastic, bergamot orange, or lemon.
