This is a collection of actual letters from Loyalist anti-fascist fighters, medical personnel and news reporters from the front-lines of the Spanish Civil War, as well as essays regarding the history and background of the war.  While many of these letters were written by members of the ABRAHAM LINCOLN BRIGADE, quite a number of letters were written by other members of the INTERNATIONAL BRIGADES from Germany, Ireland, the Soviet Union, England, Holland, Cuba, and so on.
