Printed Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Flags on String from Nepal

**Please note that we source these flags from the heart of the Nepal Himalaya
so these are the actual prayer flags used by the guides, porters and Sherpa of Nepal
for blessings whilst in the mountains, and as such, the flags are authentic and traditional **

Lungta flags (meaning 'wind horse') are often found strung along mountain ridges and peaks all around the Himalayan mountains, surrounding city's and villages. They are used to bless the surrounding countryside and all life with it spreading their mantra and symbolic intentions promoting peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom as the wind loosens and caries the threads on their journey across the lands.
The colours of the flags represent the finely balanced elements that support all life. Blue represents sky and space, white represents air and wind, red represents fire, green represents water, and yellow represents the earth.

The five colours are arranged from left to right in a specific order: blue, white, red, green, and yellow. .
