Ben Caldwell Tennessee Silversmith Sterling 
and Antler Handle Meat Fork

He is known for creating hand made Copper servers but these pieces

were made in sterling silver for a special order. 

He  attended the Museum of Fine Arts and has a Fine Arts degree from Tufts University.

He studied in Greece with the Studio School of New York. 

He has been featured in Southern Living.

The hand wrought texture  is a signature of Ben's work. 

His father was Benjamin Caldwell, Jr.  who was an advanced collector

of Amerian Antiques and contemporary art. He lectured extensively throughout 

the USA. He also wrote the book "Tennessee Silversmiths" in 1988.

Meat Fork has hammered sterling attachment with two tines.

The handle is  antler with a flower design on the end of the handle and where the sterling is attached.
