The coverage you receive under this standard warranty is free and it’s also automatic – that means no forms to fill out and no hoops to jump through.

All items are covered with 90 days Rugged Books warranty. However, some listings will have a specific section for WARRANTY under the DESCRIPTION for more details about specific coverage, e.g.:

Items covered with Manufacturer warranty are subjected to have support services claimed directly with the manufacturer (defective unit). Except if the buyer is looking to RETURN the unit, then check RETURNS POLICY.

Some items are not covered for any warranty – at all. Please always check specifics warranty under the WARRANTY section.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS


There are a number of items and circumstances that are not covered under any warranty. These items and circumstances include but are not limited to:

  • Any physical damage including damage from spills
  • Keyboard wear
  • Cracked LCD screens or shields
  • Worn or cracked anti-glare coating
  • Anything related to batteries
  • Anything related to touchscreens not installed by Rugged Books
  • Anything related to viruses or virus removal
  • Any alterations to the OS, including updates. Any and all warranties will be voided by any dismantling or defacement of products

You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (incorrect item, defective item, DOA, etc...). You should expect to receive your refund within a maximum of four weeks from us receiving the item. However, in most cases you will receive a refund promptly.

There might be restocking fees applied depending on the combination of reason of the return and condition of the returned item. If the buyer changes his mind and the item is returned in the same condition that was shipped, no restocking fees are applied, however the shipping cost is buyer’s responsibility.

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. We will respond with instructions on how to initiate a return.
