Tray Library tray launched in the 2005 Vista Alegre classic line catalogue, as part of a set of pieces published under the name "Equestrian Art".
The piece being from the equestrian art line presents differences from the other pieces released from the same collection. Reserve in the centre with a warrior on horseback flanked by two saints with mermaid bodies holding flowers in cornucopias. Other animals are part of the piece like cockerel and hen and 2 eagles
Designs and format identical to the ceiling of the Saint Léon chapel. Vow Castell. Church and fountain named Saint Leon in the central square of the historic village of Eguisheim in France. Born here in 1002, he became the now canonised Pope Leo IX.
Vista alegre is the finest and most expensive porcelain in Portugal. Every year it receives the biggest international awards.
