For sale today is the rare and out-of-print (oop) Marvel Comics oversized hardcover (hc) graphic novel Young Avengers (Deluxe Edition) by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung, published in 2008. It collects issues #1-12 of the run (making up Volume 1: Sidekicks and 2: Family Matters of the original trades), totaling 336 pages.

I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

This copy is in good condition, with a solid spine, a great hardcover and excellent overall inside pages (photo#12 example). It does have some signs of wear to its jackets, although most are lighter, with a few small ones to the hardcover, all described below.


**Photo#4: 
-Upper spine corner: Light scuffing along it. Tiny indents spread along it, and around the corner on both jackets. Hardcover below has light scuffing/bending, and a small indent around it on the front hardcover.

**Photo#5: 
-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing along it, two nearby indents on the edge, all show lightly on hardcover below. ~1/2" indents/depressions around the corner on both jackets, fronts' shows on the hardcover below as indents.

**Photo#6: 
-Front cover top edge: Jacket has light scuffing/waving, causes a light nearby/parallel indent spanning most of the cover.
-Outer corner: ~3/4" indent/ding/scuff around corner, shows on hardcover below as some scuffing and a tiny indent.

**Photo#7:
-Front cover bottom edge: ~4" horizontal crease starting near the spine corner that has some tiny scuffs/dings on the edge nearby (they show lightly on hardcover below), and causes a light jacket flare at that location. Light scuffing along rest of the edge.
-Outer corner: Nearby ~1.5" jacket indent/depression. Tiny ding/tear/scuff at extreme corner that shows on hardcover below as some scuffing and a tiny indent.

**Photo#8: 
-Back cover top edge: Light scuffing/curling along it.
-Outer corner: Nearby ~1" horizontal jacket indent. Tiny scuff/indent at extreme corner, shows lightly on hardcover below.

**Photo#9:
-Back cover bottom edge: A few tiny scuffs towards the spine corner, 2 tiny adjacent cover indents towards the outer corner, otherwise light if any shelf-wear. Hardcover below has a small ding towards the spine corner.
-Outer corner: Tiny scuff. Hardcover below has a tiny ding/light bend.

**Additionally: Front jacket cover possesses some shelf-scuffing around its upper half, most prominently near the spine edge. ~1/2" scratch on the title, with a few lighter scratches around it, and 3 tiny indents/depressions lower down the jacket. Some light scratches around the lower half, with one ~3.5" curved one. Patch of tiny indents near the bottom edge. Back jacket has light shelf-scuffing around its upper half as well. Some tiny dings/indents around its lower half, with a patch of 4 ~1/2" indents near the barcode. Book has light vertical bend/curl near the page edge, and light flexes/bends at each outer corner. First inside cover page has 4 tiny stains towards the top outer corner.
