Made by Arnels, USA which produced high quality ceramic items.

There is a chip on the under plate, as pictured.

The under plate measures 11-3/8" in diameter
The tureen stands 9-1/4" with lid in place

It comfortably holds 3 litres or 12 cups but could be filled slightly fuller if desired.

The base is signed by the artist and there is a faint Arnels impressed stamp too.
