Original lithographic advertising proof for a poster, catalogue cover design or similar. Printed on paper. Undated, though circa 1890. Measures approx. 11.25" x 8.5" (28.5cm x 21.5cm).
One central horizontal fold and three equally spaced vertical folds, though sits nice and flat nonetheless. Circa 1cm tear with no loss at upper right edge, and a little small marginal creasing to corners. Otherwise a little light tanning and marking commensurate with age. Patches of brown paper residue to blank rear centre and extremities, where it was previously fixed down. Remains an attractive original survivor nonetheless.
