The flower is carved in the back of an amber cabochon by a Polish amber jeweler using
a small hand drill in a technique known as intaglio, then set in a sterling silver oval bezel.
Each honey amber oval is a petite 1/2” long by 3/8” wide Bracelet is 7-3/4” long with a
sterling silver toggle clasp.

HISTORY

Baltic amber is the fossilized resin or sap from extinct prehistoric coniferous pine trees which formed a huge forest 40 - 60 million years ago at the present location of the Baltic Sea, and is among the oldest stones used for human adornment.

This lightest of organic gems sometimes has inclusions of entrapped flora, fauna, and insects and provides a connection with our past. Stone age worshipers, early Greeks, and Romans believed that wearing amber kept one healthy and young.
