British Napoleonic East India Company Bengal Native Infantry Officers Tunic. Though not named this came out of a museum near were Captain Richard Langslow retired to in the USA in 1817. Missing the officers shoulder boards unfortunately. Outstanding item for being over 200 years old. Some moth tracks here and there but nothing serious. Nice gilt officers buttons for the Bengal Native Infantry but missing some a few. Complete with the lining. Pockets in the tails as they did back then. An outstanding early example that you just dont find. Included with this item is the book pictured showing his information. Attached to the tunic but not shown are paper description tags from the museum showing who it belonged to.
