British Edward 7th Claymore Scottish Sword Seaforth Highlanders Ross Shire Buffs. One tiny door ding in the scabbard. Platting loss throughout the guard due to improper care or storage. The handle is perfect with a shark skin grip and wire wrap. The blade has some platting loss but no rust. Nice Edward the 7th on one side and Seaforth Highlanders Ross Shire Buffs on the other. The maker is Edward Smith 139 Ebury St SW. On the blade is the former owners initials of CHG. I have not researched this sword but if somebody had a list of officers for this unit they would be able to figure out whom it belonged to. Nice honest sword
