What is clove bud essential oil?

Clove bud oil is a light, clear coloured oil that is steam distilled from the buds of the clove tree. Clove trees grow to over 10 metres tall, and the clove buds are beaten from the tree and the oil is steam distilled from them. It has an intense, warm, spicy aroma and is very potent.

How can I use my clove bud essential oil?

• Use clove bud essential oil in a room diffuser to add a warm, spicy scent to the room.
• Blends very well into a soap or body treatment recipe - however clove oil is very strong so keep concentrations low.
• Add clove oil into a massage oil, we advise a dilution of less than 1%

How will my clove essential oil come packaged?

Your clove oil will come in an amber glass dropper bottle, of a kind used by aromatherapists worldwide.

How should I store my clove bud essential oil?

Clove oil is best kept in the original container, and sealed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
