These two books comprise the complete adventures of Dirk Gently!!
Please note, some consider The Salmon of Doubt to be a Dirk Gently story, personally, I do not.
Tragically, Douglas died while still working on it. It is an incomplete novel and one that he believed had some significant flaws. It was published posthumously and some of us, myself included, do not believe it really constitutes a Dirk Gently story.
Both of these books are TRUE First American Editions/First Printings with ALL First Edition Points present!!
Please remember these are the AMERICAN Editions, NOT the U.K. Editions.
These titles were first published in the U.K.
Both books are hardcovers with their original, First State dust jackets, NOT price-clipped!
Both books have varying degrees of wear but are still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!!
The wear should, however, still be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

A TRUE First American Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present!
The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.
The binding is tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!
Some general/shelf wear along with creases/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages, toning to the pages and creases/marks/wear to some of some of the pages, NOT affecting the text!
The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.
The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped!
Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing and marks.
There are also some marks on the inside of the dust jacket.
