The regular/general public Band Aid box is made out of cardboard. This COLLECTOR’S series was made as a gift mainly for USA retail customers such as Walmart, CVS, Target. 

Fewer than 500 of those metal Band Aid Collector’s Series boxes were made for Retail buyers.
