The wooden base is included with the agate egg, it is a cup that the egg sits in, these can be changed or altered by you to place the egg on a different base as it is individual preference and taste, you may have or prefer a different type of base to the wooden one as there are many available. The weight and dimensions are in the listing title and are all approximate. Some of the cups of the eggs have clay in the bottom to hold in position for photograph / video purposes.
