| Mazer Gold and Pave Fruit Salad Flowers in a Basket or Flower Pot Pin Description: gold and rhodium plated base metal, rhinestones, fruit salads Marked: B Reference: Harrice Miller, Costume Jewelry (Confident Collector, 1994), pp 81-2, misattributed; Cera, Jewels of Fantasy, pp 124-5, flower baskets using the same fruit salad stones, 'manufacturer unknown'. The single letter is a characteristic Mazer mark; and for the fruit salads, see MAZ583. Design, construction, and non-use of Sterling secure the attribution and date this to 1938-42.
