A very fine Derby porcelain coffee can c1825 superbly painted with birds, flowers, fruit & butterflies. I’ve not identified the artist, maybe Leonard Lead?

An uncommon mark that I’ve not encountered before. Most of the pieces in this part service have this mark. One or two other pieces have a hand painted version of the circular printed mark. Twitchett notes that the hand painted circular mark is uncommon and was only used on higher end services.

There is rubbing to the gilding. Typical fine crazing to the glaze.
