This is a vintage 1940's or earlier "Bunny Esmond Crib Blanket Made By Chatham" in the original box.

This sweet little blanket has never been out of the box and has original tag with washing/care instructions on the reverse side. **Look closely at this tag as it cautions you NOT to put through “rollers” ( wringer washer) and never mentions a dryer..thus..making it very very antique and special!!

Solid yellow with yellow satin trim. There is a vintage odor which Is to be expected for its age,I am not certain,but I should think there is a way to freshen it up. It’s not terrible,but thought I should mention it.

This is a standard Crib size 36” x 50”

I am not sure of the fabric but my guess is cotton (thick and fluffy) with satin ribbon binding in pristine condition.

Even the tissue paper inside is original

The box is in intact ~ it does have some staining~but I would say it is in pretty good shape all in all and it did a good job of keeping the blanket protected for so many years. The theme is baby
