Take a moment to admire the beauty of these Roman Glass beads. Old glass pieces from vases, windows, cups, and other containers have been fashioned into these unusual flattened tube-like beads. Each strand is about 14" in length with individual beads measuring approximately 5-43mm wide by 2-8mm diameter and a hole size of 1-2mm. Multiple strands pictured. Each strand is sold individually. Photos are intended to illustrate the variety and variation between strands. Please note the approximate number of beads stated is a rough estimation and varies depending on the size of beads on any given strand. No two strands are alike but you will receive a strand similar to those pictured. May be worn as a simple necklace or used to make unique jewelry. Note that while the material is said to be of old, possibly ancient origin, the precise age of the glass has not been independently verified.
