DESCRIPTION:
There's a loose piece of metal inside the globe that moves around & sounds flat & wide. I believe it's a weight that was intended to provide ballast for the globe, holding it down firmly on its round, pedestal base, upon which it spins.

CONDITION:
Good to Very Good overall vintage condition.
