This frog may be the best engineered frog coming out of Japan. Daiwa has put a lot of thought into this frog solving for the many problems common with hollow-body frogs. Besides the great and highly detailed paint, here are its other outstanding features:
- Soft yet durable body allowing excellent hook exposure and skipping
- Ultra-sharp wide gap double hook with SaqSas processing for amazing sharpness and penetration
- Hook shape fits the body perfectly to enhance weedless performance
- Pre-drilled air hole allows the air inside to be released when setting the hook but is positioned high enough to not allow water in
- Does not have a "hook hole" (common to many frogs) which allows water to seep in. Instead has an independent "tunnel" which only the hook passes through
- Side of the body in relation to its height is engineered to push water and enhance walking the dog motion
- Raised eyes to prevent obstacles from hitting the hook point
