This auction is for 2 pieces. One is a framed diploma from Lompox Flying Service to certify that Jack Stewart graduated from the private plane curriculum at Br. USDB Camp Cooke in Lompoc, California on June 30, 1947.  This diploma makes him eligible to apply for a private pilot certificate and single engine land rating issued by the Administrator of Civil Aeronautics.  The frame measures 11 inches in height and 9 inches in width.  The other item is a matted and framed color photograph of a pilot in an open cockpit in his flight suit with goggles.  Behind him is an early antenna and a second cockpit.  The seller found these 2 pieces together and was told that these are connected to each other. There is a slight ripple in the photo and the mat toward the top.  The frame measures 14 inches in width and 11 inches in height.  The photo measures 11 inches in width and 8 inches in height.  The image is fine but the reflection has caused it to appear cloudy. Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns. This seller does not ship internationally.
