LEGEND 03 / AKA 'The Dude'
Some
debate as to what frame colour and lens variant of 003 Jeff Bridges
wore in 98's cult classic 'The Big Lebowski', but we've been selling
Vuarnet long enough to both remember the selection in the 90's and to
have some catalogs from then to know what was available at the time.
The
model at the time was 2003BRN or 2003DBRN, PX2000 (now called 'Pure
Brown') being
the lens, 003 the frame and BRN being a brown gloss frame (almost the
same as this
one) or DBRN "Degrade Brun" (Brown Fade, but darker back then). This
exact variant has not been available for some time now, but
in recent years Vuarnet brought out this visually exact model again, but
with the added benefit of a polarized brown lens instead. BONUS!

***Please note*** Vuarnet are still using images with the older style
bridge button, but are supplying only the newer style button (flush
fitting) like the other 03 models pictured on their website. The old
style button has not been supplied in years by now, so it's just a case
that they have not updated their website images yet.
