This is Horace the Hare.
He has been lovingly needle felted onto a pale blue background.
The picture is an original semi - three dimensional needle felt and it is presented in a lovely crisp white frame.
The needle felted image measures 19cm x 19cm (7 1/2").
The frame measures 34cm x 34cm (13 1/2"). It is 3cm (1 1/8") deep. The mount is 5cm (2") wide.
All measurements are approximate.
Horace would make a wonderful gift for a friend, relative or colleague or why not just treat yourself.
I do have other needle felted items for sale if you would like to have a look.
After a 35 year career as an art and ceramics teacher, I thought I'd spend more time on needle felting.
Although I still draw and paint, (no kiln at home so no pottery unfortunately), I'd forgotten what fun it was to create sculptures and pictures from wool.
Each of my items is individually crafted.
