A TRUE First American Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present!

This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear/age, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!

The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

The binding has some VERY clearly visible wear but is still holding tight.

All of the pages/illustrations are present and still attached.

Some general/shelf/age wear along with...

Wear to the binding. While all of the pages and illustrations are present and attached, the binding feels shaky/loose and there is very noticeable wear at certain areas of the book. The rear board along with some of the last pages are starting to pull away from the spine. One can clearly see some separation/fraying/rips and the internal webbing is exposed. The book should be handled with care to avoid further damage and possible separation of the spine and/or some of the pages. The wear is very clearly visible!

Creases/scuffing/marks/wear to the spine and the boards. The wear is particularly noticeable near/along the edges and at the corners. The wear is very clearly visible!

Marks/wear to the edge/fore pages.

Creases/marks/foxing/discoloration/rips/wear to the pages. Varying in size and severity, the wear is particularly egregious on certain pages! The wear is very clearly visible!

Internal writing. A rather elegant previous owner gift inscription and date is located, (upside down), on the back of the final, blank page. The date written is "Dec 26th, 1912", which is the year this book was published! While the writing/penmanship is actually quite lovely and some would view it as adding a bit of charm, we believe this should still be viewed as a flaw.

All of the wear previously mentioned is VERY clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book.

We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear.

Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear is VERY clearly visible!

All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection.

Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!!

Following the conclusion of the auction, payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed.

Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank you!!
